Our story
Named after my dad.
Wayne is my father's middle name. He never worked in finance, never managed anyone's portfolio, and never once used the word “fintech.” What he did do — every month, without fail — was sit down and take care of the money.
[Placeholder — the scene: where did he do the budget? The kitchen table with a legal pad? Envelopes in a drawer? A checkbook register balanced to the penny? Describe the ritual you remember watching as a kid.]
[Placeholder — the lesson: what did he teach you about money, directly or by example? A phrase he repeated? A time the discipline paid off for the family — or a hard stretch the budget carried you through?]
That habit — knowing where every dollar was, and being honest about it — is the whole idea behind this app. Not the charts, not the AI, not the integrations. Just the discipline of one person looking their money in the eye, made easier with modern tools.
So the coach inside is patient like he was. The budgets score “under par” because doing well should feel like winning, not like homework. There's a version for kids, because this habit is worth handing down — that's how I got it. And the whole thing carries his name, because if it helps your family the way his kitchen-table budget helped ours, it's earned it.
Thanks, Dad.
